OK. Pertama sekali, beribu2 sugus terima kasih kepada Sabby sabrina kerana telah memberi award ni kepada saya :) (first time dpt award online nih, kagum2 :D)

Kemudian, sesi bercerita. (asal pelik sgt ayat ni?)


7 perkara yang mungkin anda tidak tahu atau dah tahu tp sengaja buat2 tak tahu pasal diri saya :


1. Saya sangat gemarkan kucing.
Kucing itu adalah satu spesis yang sangat comel! Bagi jela segala jenis kucing,belang2 ke tompok2 ke gemuk2 ke buncit2 ke mesti saya rasa geram, rasa nak pegang2 picit2 pijak2 belai2 kucing tu. Tapi kalau yang jenis gebu2 bulu tebal tu preferable la. haha. Kitorang kat rumah panggil kucing 'anyau'. Comel kan? hahahaha


2. Saya rasa pelik dengan orang yang takut dengan kucing.
Padiaaaa diorang ni? Kucing tu dah la kecik je comel muka innocent, apasal korang yang 4 kaki lebih tinggi dan 2 kaki lebih lebar daripada kucing tu nak rasa takut dengan die? Korang tak tengok ke muka puss in boots dlm cite Shrek yang memang kiyut nak mati tu? Tak rase comell ke wehh?? Kucing tu tak hingin pun nak gigit korang ok. "Tak sedap pun gigit manusia. Baik makan friskies, boleh gak buncitkan perut," kata kucing kepada manusia. Ishh tak paham betul la dengan golongan sebegini. *emo* haha


3. Saya tak reti nak describe diri sendiri.
Heheh. Sebab tu la saya postpone nak tulis entri ni sebab tak tau nak cakap ape sebenarnya. hahahaha. Saya akan rasa teruja dan gembira bila dengar orang lain cerita pasal perangai atau habit saya (tp kalau mengutuk tu tak bape nak happy la, haha). Bila kawan2 saya cakap sesuatu pasal diri saya, mesti saya akan cakap, "oh, aku camtu ehh??" Gila tak memahami diri sendiri wehh. hahaha


4. Badan saya punya metabolism rate sangat tinggi.
Ni adalah salah satu sebab kenapa saya tak gemuk2. Penat la, dah makan banyak2 last2 kena pegi toilet banyak2 kali jugak. Letih tul. haha.


5. Saya sangat suka Korea.
Tak kisah lah artis ke bahasa ke negara ke lelaki handsome ke semua ttg Korea rasa cambest je. hurhurhur. Even kalau kat rumah saya suka tgk channel KBS World . Habis semua orang dalam rumah termasuk abah saya kena layan korea. Hahaha. Lepas tu haritu dah poww abah beli buku Korean for Beginners yang berharga RM80. Ngeh3


6. Saya adalah seorang pelajar IIUM.
Alaa, iium.. ada kat PJ, Nilai, Gombak & Kuantan. tak tau ke? International Islamic University Malaysia tu.. Tak tau jugak? uia la senang cerita.. huhu


7. Saya seorang yang cantik.
Yang ni mungkin semua orang di luar sana dah aware of it, cuma saje je buat2 tak tau. Betul takk? haha. Eh.. segan la nak cakap. Tapi saya rasa saya cantik. Well, cantik kan sesuatu yang subjektif (tukar sket ayat artis, "seksi tu kan subjektif"). Tak kisah la cantik dari segi apa (dalaman atau luaran) tapi saya tahu saya cantik kerana ciptaan Allah tu semua indah2 belaka (cewahh, haha). Dan saya rasa semua orang pun ada kecantikan yang tersendiri. Is it or not? (intonation ala2 perempuan arab). Nama award ni pun beautiful blogger award kan? It's obvious then. heheee joking. Hmm saya tahu lepas baca ni, mesti sume akan cakap "bajet tul minah ni.." but who cares? nak puji diri sendiri sila la buat jgk entri sendiri di blog anda. hahaha

Stop blaming others.

Al 'amru bi al-ma'ruf & Al-nahyu 'an al-munkar. : enjoining good and forbidding evil
(commonly known as amar ma'ruf nahi munkar)


Learnt about that topic today. And what caught my attention was the subtopic: Levels of Al-'amru bil ma'ruf & al-nahyu 'an al-munkar.


There are 4 main levels of amar ma'ruf & nahi munkar.

1. Self
2. Family
3. Friends & relatives
4. Society

As you can see, yourself (or myself) is considered as the core in enjoining good & forbidding evil. Meaning, we, as Muslims, need to practice amar ma'ruf & nahi munkar in our daily life by advising our own selves to enjoin the good & forbid the evil doings. And that would also mean, you shouldn't advise others if you're unable to advise yourself.

Why am I emphasizing this, you ask?



Well.. I have a similitude here. (sort of)


There are 2 persons in a college, a boy and a girl. Previously, they tried to practice amar ma'ruf wa nahi munkar by telling their friends 'stop doing this and that'. That's fine to me because as Muslims, we should constantly remind our brothers and sisters what's permissible and what's not in Islam. But to tell you the truth, most of their friends dislike them. However, one day I heard these 2 persons became a couple (sorry for the backbiting). An 'Islamic couple' I guess. (does that even exist?) Gotta remind you that before this happened, they constantly advice their friends not to have a gf or bf because it's haram in Islam. And out of the blue, they became a lovely couple. Did I tell you that they have similar personalities? Oh yes, and perhaps that's the reason why they can fit well with each other. However, while they themselves are in a special relationship, the boy was still keep telling his other friend that he cannot have a gf (using harsh words) because it's wrong. He excluded himself because he said he has booked (cop?) that girl to be his future spouse. Oh. I. See.
But then, after a while, the rumour about them (the girl & the boy) being a couple has spread widely as fast as a lightning. (everybody loves backbiting,eh?) Until one day, a friend of the girl asked her, "I heard that you have a boyfie now, with mr.K. Is it true? Erm, I'm just curious you know.." And the girl replied, "Of course it's not true. from where do you hear this?" and her friend said, "from my friend, a guy."
So right after being punched with such question, the girl reported to his bf, so-called mr.K. This boy got really mad so he asked all of his potential-backbiter guy friends, "Who spread the rumours huh?"
As you can see, he blamed others for his own action. Why did he feel insecure in the first place? Easy. That means the rumour was indeed true. Even if you didn't know about the rumour, you can still guess correctly (without doubt) as they always do eye-contact while in class. euuw. So to cover his act, he started blaming others. What on earth? Stop blaming others laa. The main reason why people didn't listen to your advice is because you yourself doesn't follow what you've said. And honestly, people get annoyed with you. Cakap tak serupa bikin.

So my point here is, you should implement amar ma'ruf & nahi munkar in your life first before you want to fix others. Thank you.

Eagle Stone?

Langkawi.


What comes to your mind when I mentioned Pulau langkawi?

Beautiful islands.. beach.. eagles.. chocolates.. kunda (haha).. cheap things?

Well, some of them might be true, but the last one is definitely wrong.
EVERYTHING is expensive now, I must say.
The point is, don’t ask me for souvenirs! Haha.

I went for a 3-days trip with my mum (rombongan) to the infamous famous Langkawi Island, perhaps, 1 month ago? Woot woot~

So now, it's time for Langkawi's history class! (since when do I enjoy history classes? :P)

Ehem3. *clearing throat*
Langkawi stands for Eagle (Lang=Helang) & Stone (Kawi=batu kottt). Haha. Bear in your mind that I always get poor grades when it comes to history.
And for the discovery of gamat (sea cucumber, timun laut :P) in Langkawi island.. here goes:

Once upon a time, in a land far far away, there lived humble villagers in a small island. One day, a fisherman went fishing and caught tons of fish using his net. Suddenly, out of nowhere, he found a jelly-like creature attached onto his leg. He thought it was a leech, (a blood-sucker thingy) so he struck the jelly-like creature with his sword dagger parang knife into tiny pieces. (you're so mean uncle!) After a while, he was astonished to find that the tiny pieces of previously known jelly-like creature clumped together and became one piece again. (not a comic tho). The wounds on that creature were healed within a split second! (ok, a bit exaggeration here) So that's how they discover the useful gamat - a medicinal remedies derived from several species of the Holothuroidea family. (wikipedia, 2010)

Enough with the background of Langkawi.


As usual, we went sight seeing, shopping blah blah blah the same must-do's for visitors.
But some places there are quite cool, as in fun to go to.


First off, Galeria Perdana! A place where the collection of gifts and awards given to Tun Dr. Mahathir are accumulated displayed. Since I paid RM2 for the camera permission, it is a MUST to take some pictures. :D
